The collection mainly preserves and presents pictures on the history and cultural history of Schleswig-Holstein. Focal points are topographical representations, portraits and pictures depicting special events as well as traditional costume and uniform sheets. A great number of books and music are also on view. Changing exhibitions are shown in addition.
