The museum presents theatre puppets from three centuries on 600 sqm. The collection comprises hand puppets, marionettes, puppets on a pole, dangling puppets, puppets for shadow plays, ventriloquist’s puppets and other puppets from Europe, Asia and Africa. In addition, everything related to puppet theatre is shown like posters, leaflets, entrance tickets, trading licences of players’ dynasties, complete stages, sceneries, properties and tools. An extensive collection of organs, musical instruments and display panels for street ballads is also displayed.
