Walking tours on the ramparts:
Only 20 km of the formerly 30 km long Danewerk are still intact. The museum is an ideal starting point for walking tours on and around the ramparts. Close to the museum there are the remains of a brick wall that was built by the Danish king Waldemar the Great in the 12th century. |  |  |  |
