Description
The Haithabu Viking Museum is one of the most important archaeological museums in Germany. The museum and the seven reconstructed houses on the historic site impressively show how people lived there in the early Middle Ages. Unesco declared the Viking trading centre and the Danevirke border fortress a World Heritage Site in 2018.
