Description
Whether in a printer’s workshop, a merchant’s warehouse, a metal workshop or a special exhibition: the Museum der Arbeit shows Hamburg’s industrial, technical and social history. In the exhibitions and events, the museum shows us how, around 150 years ago, industrialisation and its side-effects changed the work and everyday lives of the people here and looks into what consequences this transition had for society and the environment.
