Description
There are workshops as well as seminar and exhibition rooms to prepare work in the nature reserve and to instruct active members and people who do community service. ‘Haus der Natur’, which is located within a large park with a nature trail, is an information centre of national importance.
The Jordsand Association’s House of Nature is located in a manor house dating back to the early 20th century. In addition to a permanent natural history exhibition on nature and nature conservation, the museum has a six-hectare park with a nature discovery trail and beautiful old trees. It is one of 50 recognised nature discovery centres in Schleswig-Holstein.
