Die Radierfolge " Les plaisirs de l'Isle enchantée" stammt von dem französischen Maler und Stecher Israel Silvestre d. J., der für Ludwig XIV. arbeitete (?dessinateur et graveur du Roi?). Einige Blätter weisen Jean le Pautre als Stecher aus. Die bekannte Serie dokumentiert ein Hoffest des Jahres 1664, dessen aufwändiges Veranstaltungsprogramm sich über drei Tage in den Gärten von Versailles erstreckte.
