Die auf zwei Seiten angelegte Zeichnung ist Teil seines Skizzenbuchs Nr. 40 (1869), Blatt 6-7 (verso - recto). Skizziert ist in wenigen Strichen eine feslsige Landschaftsformation. Es handelt sich um eine Vorskizze der Zeichnung 1910-1-40.6. Recto Blatt 6: leer; verso Blatt 7: siehe 1910-1-40.5.
