Porträt des deutschen Philosophen Erich Adickes (* 29. Juni 1866 in Lesum; † 8. Juli 1928 in Tübingen), Fotografie. Im Original angefertigt zwischen 1910 und 1915 Jahren von seinem Bruder, dem Politiker Franz Adickes (1846–1915) [Abzug 1950er Jahre]. Adickes ist sitzend hinter einem Schreibtisch fotografiert worden. Sein Blick is dem Fenster hinter ihm zugewandt. Er trägt einen langen Vollbart und hält eines der vor ihm ausgebreiteten Schriftstücke in der Hand. Adickes promivierte an der CAU Kiel und lehrte ab 1898 als außerordentlicher Universitätsprofessor. Im Jahre 1902 nahm er einen Ruf an die Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster an. In Tübingen wurde er 1904 Nachfolger von Christoph von Sigwart.
