Antriebsmodell für Spielzeugdampfmaschinen: über eine kleine Antriebswelle wird das Windmühlrad in Bewegung gesetzt. Genau wie bei den großen Dampfmaschinen trieben die Spielzeugdampfmaschinen die Antriebsmodelle mit Hilfe der so genannten Transmission (Riemengetriebe) an. Ein Riemen aus einen strapzierfähigen Material, wie zum Beispiel Leder, verband die Antriebswelle der Dampfmaschine mit der Antriebswelle einer Maschine und konnte diese somit in Bewegung setzen.
