New name, new location, modernised concept: the former Nortorf Museum has become the German Record Museum - since October 2022 in the historic boiler house of the former TELDEC record factory with around 800 square metres of exhibition space on three floors - expanded by the donations of the record archives from the NDR radio stations in Kiel and Hamburg, an ELAC exhibition and many other new attractions!
You can look forward to music boxes ready to play, shelves full of records, interesting films, e.g. about the path of sound to the record, great physical sound experiments and numerous rarities - from the more than 100-year-old Edison phonograph to the latest hi-fi system.

We are barrier-free and offer a museum shop, a small bistro and a stage for events.
